Animation Work
79 Sonder Street
These character designs were made for a public installation piece displayed in the UTS Data Arena made over the course of a university semester.
The project centred around the concept of sonder, the idea that everyone has a life as complex and interesting as our own which they are constantly living. Using a model apartment, audiences were invited to look through windows to view the rooms of the inhabitants, getting a glimpse into their everyday lives and hopefully forming a connection with them as they relate their experiences to their own.
I also provided clean-up animation for the animated aspect of this project, as well as assisting in the construction of the model.
